What is a Periodic Table?

The Periodic Table is a table illustrating the periodic system, in which the elements, formerly arranged in the order of their atomic weights and now according to their atomic numbers, are shown in related groups.

The first published Periodic Table was made in 1869 made by Dmitri Mendeleev of Russia.

So it's a real table, right? WRONG!!! It is an illustrated table but I guess it could be made into a real table...

So why would we need a Periodic Table?

Simple. The Periodic Table is basically a cheat sheet to all of the elements for us. It maps out all of the elements, their symbols, atomic numbers, and atomic masses.
