So how are atoms any different from each other? They all have Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons, so how are there different elements?
All atoms have a different number of protons, neutrons, and electrons. For example, a regular stable atom of Hydrogen will have 1 proton and 1 electron with no neutrons because one proton cannot repel itself. On the other hand, a Helium atom has 2 protons, 2 neutrons, and 2 electrons.
